2021 Festival

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, it was not feasible to arrange a Bristol One Act Drama Festival for February 2021.  However, we combined with the Avon Association of Drama to put on

The Avon & Bristol Short Play Festival

 

This was held on

Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd July

at Iron Acton Village Hall

Five plays were presented, including original works, two on the Friday evening, two on Saturday afternoon and one on Saturday  evening

followed by the awards ceremony

 

Entries were adjudicated by Chris Jaeger MBE GoDA

This was a First Round of The All England Theatre Festival.

The OLYMPUS Theatre

Olympus Theatre, Wise Campus, SGS College, Stoke Gifford, Bristol, BS34 8LP

The Olympus Theatre is a 250-seat state-of-the-art theatre space at the Wise Campus of the South Gloucestershire and Stroud college (formerly Filton College) in Stoke Gifford, Bristol. 

The Wise Campus is mixed Performing Arts and Sports campus, as such The Olympus Theatre shares its car park with the sports facilities. At times parking space can be limited and, with this in mind, the Festival committee suggests you give yourself ample time to park prior to our prompt 7:00pm start time. 

 

Please note that the car park now charges for parking.  Pay and Display machines are on site charging approximately £1 per hour
